removing uninstalled programs from add/remove program list
Sometimes when I try to remove programs, using the Add/Remove programs feature, the "removal" is not completely successful. Eg sometimes the relevant files and directories are removed, but the listbox for add/remove programs still thinks the program exists? Why? Is it due to something lingering in the registry?
